What is Preschool?

Preschool classes are for children ages three through five.  The classes are held Monday through Thursday at Marimor School.  Children can attend half-day or full day sessions.  Each child has an IEP (Individualized Education Program).  Parents and professionals meet as a team to develop goals for the child in the IEP.  We include typically developing peers in the preschool program at Marimor School to serve as role models for the children who have a disability.

What services are offered?
The creative curriculum is used and instructional activities are aligned with the Ohio Department of Education Early Learning Standards.
Related services (i.e. speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, adaptive physical education) are provided based on the needs of the child as developed on the IEP
All teachers are licensed by the Ohio Department of Education
